The American bride and groom, Ankur Jain, CEO of Built Rewards, and his bride, the American wrestling champion, Erica Hammond, chose to hold their wedding in Egypt at the foot of the pyramids!
When planning their wedding, the newlyweds thought about holding a wedding in space or in Egypt, and they chose Egypt. The newlyweds described the event as “an experience that cannot be repeated in a lifetime.”
Egyptologist, Dr. Zahi Hawass, witnessed their wedding ceremony in the pyramids.
The couple and their 130 guests enjoyed a wonderful four-day program in Egypt.
Before the wedding, the newlyweds held a welcome party for their guests at Muhammad Ali Palace in Cairo. The party included a belly dancing show, and the guests danced to the rhythms of oriental and Egyptian music chosen for them by the DJ.
On the second day, the couple enjoyed a private tour of the pyramids organized for them by Dr. senses. This was followed by a dinner party at the Grand Egyptian Museum, inspired by ancient Egypt, which included popular performances and a shopping tour for the guests, including Egyptian perfumes, papyrus and jewelry.
On Friday, guests gathered at sunset at a specially built ceremony site near the pyramids for the wedding.
As the sun set over the Giza Plateau, guests were taken to the other side of the pyramids to celebrate the wedding, with a stunning view of the desert and the pyramids.
