Ras Mohammed is considered by many to be the best dive site in the world, with its superb coral reef ecosystems and the most spectacular desert scenery. The National Park is a vast natural treasure trove with its diversity of flora and fauna and amazing geological formations. It is home to lizards, ibexes, foxes and gazelles among others, and during the migratory season, to hundreds of birds. Its mangrove swamps are almost unique in Sinai and the reefs contain more than 200 species of corals and over 1000 species of fish. The shark observatory and garden eel are among the attractions the Park has to offer.
