Ramses II was the pharaoh who built the most. The Rameseum, its funerary temple west of Thebes, is one of the most important expressions of this activity. For almost a river, not only as a place of worship for the royal ka together with the god Amun, but also as a center administered by the region west of Thebes, a post-resumed function by the temple of Medinet Habu.
