This is the small rock-cut temple of Ramesses Il. It was transferred to he vicinity of the Kalabsha temple from its original site which was consequently.covered by Lake Nasser. Its elongated entrance hall bears wall reliefs of artistic quality. They depict war scenes from The time of the co-regency between Seti I and Ramesses Il. In one case, the royal victory is accentuated by a "smiting scene" in which the enemy town is personified as a single warrior holding a broken bow in sign of defeat. The transverse hall contains two "protodoric" columns. Ramesses Il offers to the local gods Isis, Horus, Khnum and Anoukis. In the shrine, the innermost part of the temple, three statues were fashioned in the living rock. One of them represented Ramesses Il in his deified aspect.
